Ezekiel encounters the Cherubim and describes them as having four faces. The original light bearer Lucifer a covering Cherub had only one until he betrayed G-d and then he became two-faced! Add the antichrist into the mix and now we have four faces. One who loves and honors G-d and the last to scare up souls in the tribulation. Lucifer’s little Egypt construction project claimed the Son of God would become his pet. Well, all I have to say to that is woof, woof.
Having four faces on four sides of their heads and being arranged in a square, they can travel in any direction without having to turn.
The word Cherub may come from a term ‘to guard’ which would fit well with their role. No where in the Bible are the Cherubim directly called angels!
So far from being cute, cuddly creatures, the Cherubim are the mighty and powerful guardians of God.
Also, they possess a wealth of knowledge.
We find Satan’s two faces in two places in scripture.
The ones Ezekiel saw had the face of a man, the face of an eagle, the face of a lion and the last that of an ox.
I do believe that Lucifer was the last angel to make an appearance, I say this for several reasons. One that God knew the end from the beginning and I do not believe HE was in any hurry to reveal the SON to the congregation of angels. The Bible does not reveal that Lucifer was the first angel created and I see many teach he was, so that should say something about the matter right there.
I believe that faith began to fail among the angels and an insistence to see the SON murmured among them many may have doubted HIS reality. They were not buying into,”If you have seen me you have seen the Son, the SON and I are one.” So I believe G-d made something they could see to enforce worship of the SON this is where we begin to see the great price G-d places on HIS SON by covering HIM with all precious gems and stones.
Was Lucifer the first enforcer in the worship of the SON in heaven? The congregation that was less than fully serving G-d by honoring the call to worship turned him and made a leader they wanted. He came to them as a lamb then became a beast but who was in him that began to drift away at hearing their unbelief?
The ones who understood his call should have been more supportive. Instead, jealousy ensued just like Joseph and his coat.
We are all light bearers now and he hates us because we replace him. He claims G-d cannot give one the desires of their heart and he chooses the wrong desire.
So G-d does it again only this time with man, he calls another bringer of light Daniel 8:12, HE desires to lift up the SON but is constantly brought down by those who follow the original one. So I wait until father allows the enemy to complete his New World Order minus a peace plan and viola a choice has to be made.
There’s or ours, ours is full of joy and happiness and excitement, never a boring moment. While theirs is disturbing, troublesome and much weeping and gnashing of teeth.
The tribulation sends many to their deaths who end up being left behind, the ones taken rejoice at G-d’s wisdom and love his friend who helped them find the SON and give their lives to him that is one face. While the beheaded saints see him in heaven as the enforcer that compelled them to make a choice that’s the second face. We will never see Lucifer’s face again after we look at it and say is this he who made the nations to tremble.
G-d proved HE could give him the desire of his heart and the cost was more than any of us could bear. Thank’s to Jesus HE paid the price for us all and when the trumpet blows in heaven we will all be there to worship the maker of heaven and earth as well as appreciate the life we asked for.
Someone once told me if someone gives you something or you buy something on credit you do not appreciate it as much as having worked for it. We do not have to work for salvation we are to walk it out in fear and trembling. G-d provides it freely and the requirement to obtain it is faith.
