(44) Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Genesis 35:16-18
(16)  And they journeyed from Bethel; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labour. (17)  And it came to pass, when she was in hard labour, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also. (18)  And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin.

Ben – Oni was what Rachel called him meaning “son of my sorrow.”  Jacob called him Benjamin meaning Son of my right hand.  Either way it is when Benjamin arrives in Egypt that we truly find out what is going on.  We then hear the words

Genesis 50:19-20
(19) And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of G-d?
(20) But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but G-d meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Joseph makes Benjamin the cup bearer…

Genesis 43:34

Genesis 44:2

Isaiah 64:6-8
(6)  But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
(7)  And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.
(8)  But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Matthew 23:35
(35)  That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

Hebrews 9:12
(12) Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

John 5:39-47
(39)  Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
(40)  And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
(41)  I receive not honour from men.
(42)  But I know you, that ye have not the love of G-d in you.
(43)  I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
(44)  How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from G-d only?
(45)  Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.
(46)  For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.
(47)  But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
